Spring Bottom Farm is owned and operated by Cody and Maggie Pomeroy, near Fillmore, New York, producing freezer beef and pure maple syrup.
We raise all natural Angus beef cattle, grown solely on high quality feed and free of artificial hormones. Our cattle are raised and finished on our farm with a customer-conscious feeding program consisting of hay, corn, and silage. This combination feed is given to our animals to produce consistently marbled beef with excellent flavor.
Here at Spring Bottom Farm, we believe happy cows equal happier customers! Spring Bottom cattle are raised in a calm and stress-free environment. Our cow-calf herd allows us to care for each one on a personal level. We maintain Beef Quality Assurance certification to continue to follow the most up-to-date guidelines for beef management and production.
Our steers are taken to a USDA inspected butcher and processed to our customers' individual preferences and specifications. All meat is dry aged to enhance tenderness and double wrapped when packaged.
Beef can be purchased by the quarter, half, or whole carcass. Price calculation is based on the carcass hanging weight and the current beef market rates. Our carcass weights typically range between 600 and 700 pounds.
We also produce nature's pure sweetener, maple syrup, in our wood-fired sugar shanty. Along with wholesaling, we bottle our syrup for individual sale. We have pints, quarts, and half gallon sizes available.
