Within the next 35 years, 40% of all children on Earth will likely call Africa home. Last year, in addition to the horrific outbreak of Ebola in West Africa, the continent experienced a turbulent stretch that saw widespread protests, unrest, civil wars, and
insurgencies. At the same time, Africa is experiencing
encouraging trends like the growing role of women in
economic activity and entrepreneurship, increased access to technology, and investment in education. We’ll examine the opportunities and challenges that face the next generation of Africa’s leaders.
